Tooling, printing, coating, lining, inspection and export documentation all sit inside one accountable chain. You send a brief; we come back with a structure, a price and a sample.
How It Works
Six stages, roughly 30 to 35 days
This is the real timeline for a fully custom tin, from a first artwork file to goods leaving the plant. Repeat orders on existing tooling are considerably faster.
What We Can Build
Every common tin format, plus bespoke tooling
Around 750 to 800 SKUs are currently in production across more than 600 existing moulds. If none of them fit, we cut a new one.
Slip-lid tins · 200+ moulds
The classic cookie, confectionery and gift format. Lid tension is checked on every unit at outgoing inspection.
Hinged tins · 300+ moulds
Our widest range. Common for mints, chocolates, small hardware and promotional packaging.
Sliding tins · 100+ moulds
Sliding-drawer cases, often chosen where the opening action is part of the unboxing experience.
Screw-top canisters · 80+ moulds
Airtight formats for coffee, loose tea and matcha, including versions with a built-in sifter.
Custom shapes
From φ30×10mm up to 600×400×300mm. Candle and cosmetics volumes held to ±1% — 4oz, 8oz, 100ml and 200ml are all standard.
Mixed-material sets
Tin with a printed outer carton, ribbon or a cork stopper. Useful for tea and candle gift sets where perceived value matters more than unit cost.
Inside the Tin
Linings, coatings and finishes
The inside of the tin decides whether it is legal to sell; the outside decides whether it sells. We handle both in-house or through long-standing partners.
- Food-grade interior lacquer, 100% BPA-free, coated on our own line with a five-minute colour change
- EVA, foam, flocked, moulded-paper and plastic inserts — three dedicated lining partners keep lead times honest
- Gloss, matt, soft-touch, pearlescent and brushed-metal exteriors
- Foil stamping, spot UV, embossing and debossing for premium retail lines
- Built-in sifters, pull rings and child-resistant closures where the product needs them

Packing, freight and what happens if something arrives damaged
Export packing
Each tin in its own PE bag, double corrugated dividers, then a five-ply AA outer carton. Gift and irregular shapes get EPE foam and corner protection. Arrival damage claims run under 1%.
Container planning
A 40HQ takes roughly 80,000 to 120,000 candle or matcha tins depending on size. We supply CAD loading diagrams so you can see the landed cost before committing.
Sailing times from Shenzhen
US West Coast 12–15 days, US East Coast 30–35, UK 25–30, Saudi Arabia and the UAE 15–20, Australia 18–22. DDP door-to-door available on all of these lanes.
If something goes wrong
Send photos and a damage report within three days; we confirm within 24 hours and either refund the full value or remake the goods. Historical return rate is below 0.5%.
Free warehousing
Finished goods can stay in our warehouse at no charge while you consolidate several orders, wait for a shipping slot, or release stock in stages. Tell us the holding period when you place the order and we confirm it in writing.
Ready stock, out in 24 hours
Candle tins (1–10oz), matcha tins (30/50/100g) and round cookie tins are held in stock. Trial orders from 200 pieces ship straight from the shelf.
- Rush orders accepted, typically 15–20 days instead of 25–30
- Split FBA deliveries in two or three batches, with FNSKU labelling
- Staged releases from our warehouse, so you only ship what your market can absorb
